Thank you brother. These passages always challenge me. It's easy to critique the disciples' lack of faith while they were perishing as I write on my couch with coffee in hand. I believe that it's there for us to learn from, obviously, but only God knows how I would do in that same situation. I pray I would be faithful.
I feel that tension too - wanting to believe I’d stand firm, yet knowing my own weakness. But man, the beauty is that even when the disciples failed, Jesus was still in the boat with them. That gives me hope.
